After signing in with Vidcast, you'll always begin on your personal homepage. This page is 100% curated for you and your account.
As you scroll down the page, you'll notice a few specific video feeds
Recommended for you - This feed is generated for you using our own recommendation engine. It chooses the most relevant videos for you from your organization, based on previous recordings you've watched. So the more vidcasts you view, the better the recommendations you'll see here. Note that the rotating feed at the very top of your page is highlighting videos from this same "Recommended for you" category.
Latest videos shared with you - Here you'll find videos that have been specifically shared with you. To find out more regarding how to share with and restrict videos to specific users, check out our Share your Vidcast guide.
Trending in my company - This is where you'll see the most popular videos within your organization. These are generated for you based on their number of views, comments, shares, and reactions.
Recent videos - And last but not least, this is where you'll find the videos you've viewed most recently.
Besides the curated video feeds, you'll also find links to other sections of Vidcast on the far left side
Teams: Here you can reference any team you're a part of – or create new ones. Learn more about this feature in the dedicated Teams article.
Library: Within your library, you'll see a few additional tabs:
My Videos is where you'll find every video you've created
Webex meetings is where you can import and then find your Webex meeting recordings
Collaborative is where you'll find any and all videos where you have editing access
Shared with me will have all videos where you've been added as a viewer
Recently viewed will simply display videos that you've watched recently :)
Insights: This is where you can learn all about your videos' analytics. You'll see which videos are being viewed the most, which ones are garnering the most reactions, and more. Further details can be found in our Insights guide.
Playlists: Vidcast allows you to group your recordings into Playlists. It's a great way to keep your videos organized. Learn more about Playlists in Playlists and Collaborative Playlists articles.
You'll also see a few icons in the upper right hand corner
The Search option allows you to find videos by searching for key words. Searching here will pull up both videos from your library, as well as videos you've recently viewed.
The Notifications menu (bell icon) is where you'll see the most recent notifications for you and your account. You can learn more about these notifications and how to customize them in the Notifications article.
You also might see the Upload icon (upward pointing arrow ⬆). The ability to upload external recordings is a premium feature available by request for Enterprise Webex Suite subscribers. You can learn more about our premium features right here.
The New video button is where you'll begin every new recording. Whether it's your first or 500th recording, this is where you'll start every time. a step-by-step guide can be found in the Record a Vidcast article.
And finally, you can access your account settings by clicking on your Profile icon. To learn more about these settings, check out our Account Settings Overview.
