Record the video you wish to embed next to your poll in Vidcast – this could be a quick intro or overview you want to provide to your poll participants. The use cases are endless but some of the top examples we see are for:
Exec comms – execs can record a quick video intro along with a poll to get broad feedback across the company on key topics of interest.
Leader check ins – team leaders can record a quick message for their team along with a poll to get feedback on key topics, input on group decisions, etc.
Training and onboarding – record a video tutorial and then do a quick knowledge check with a poll.
Once you have your Vidcast recorded, copy either the embed or share link from the Vidcast playback page (under “Share Video” > “Embed”, you can either copy the embed link or embed code, either will work)
In Slido, create a new Slido (or open an existing) and add your poll questions.
Click on the Settings icon in the top right, scroll down to “Integrations” > “Live Video”.
Slide the icon on so it’s green and click the arrow to expand your Live Video settings. Here you’ll see a field where you can paste your embed code. You can add a description for your video if you want to. Click “save” to close.
That’s it – it's that easy!
Your Vidcast will now appear in your Slido poll participant view (note: the Vidcast does not appear in the presenter view).
