Vidcast's AI powered search allows users to find videos on the Vidcast platform by understanding the context and meaning behind their queries, delivering more relevant results than traditional keyword searches.
Please note that AI Powered Search is a per request Enterprise feature.
AI powered search provides contextual video discovery by finding discoverable videos based on the meaning of the search query rather than just exact keywords. It improves relevance by returning results that better match user intent through semantic analysis of video content. Compared to traditional Vidcast search, users can also preview occurrence of the search term in Vidcast transcript directly in the video's results card.
Users can also search for playlists and pages and AI powered search will provide results based on the content within.
Current limitations:
Certain niche or highly specific queries may yield limited results.
As we improve the feature, some search results may not be fully optimized.
There is currently a limit of 100 results per search.
AI powered search doesn't currently search for specific people (users).
Only own, viewed or shared playlists/ pages can be searched for.
