Trim

Vidcast's Trimming feature allows you to edit out the beginning and/or end of your recording.

Does your Vidcast recording begin with you shuffling between the tabs of your browser? Does it end with you coughing? We get it and we want to make it easy to remove these parts. Trimming allows you to take away those moments at the beginning and end of your video.

Simply open up the Trim tab and use the orange time markers to indicate where you'd like to trim your recording.

You can also edit the trimmed section by using your keyboard's arrow keys to adjust the time stamps.

And when you're ready to save, you'll have the option to save your trimmed video as an updated version of the original - or to save it as a brand new video (keeping the original saved as-is).

Note that you can also Trim your video immediately after recording directly within the preview window
