When opening up the Edit page for any video, you'll begin on the Video Details section. Under this section, you'll see four different fields for you to edit: Title, Description, Chapters, and Tags.

  • Title: This is where you can rename your video to whatever works well for you.

  • Description: Feel free to add anything you'd like here to enhance the video or provide context. **Any URLs listed here will be clickable by your viewers.

  • Chapters: Chapters are a great way to organize your video so that viewers can select specific sections of your recording to view. This allows viewers to select and view the sections that are most relevant to them. You can follow this Vidcast demo that explains these in full, and also demonstrates how to set them up.

  • Tags: This is where you can create tags which allow you to categorize and keep order within your Vidcast recording library

  • Default Playback speed: As a default, all Vidcast recordings are set to play back at 1.2x speed. We do this to immediately provide the viewer with a 20% time savings from the start. With that said, we know that this may not fit your working style and so we want to make sure you have options for deciding what fits your needs.

  • Reactions: Allows creators to toggle off the option to add reactions to the video

  • Comments: Allows creators to toggle off the option to comment on a video
