Sometimes, all you need to share with others is just a small portion of an otherwise lengthy video. With our playback clip feature, you can easily select the best moment to share with your colleagues.
To create a playback clip, click on the Clip button located below the video on the playback page.
You can select the part of the video to be clipped by either selecting text in the transcript, or by increasing (or decreasing) time stamps below the preview.
Once you are ready with your clip selection, click on the "Copy link" button- this will copy link for only your clip selection. Viewers you'll share the clip with will still have the option to switch to full video.
Please note that while anyone can share a clip from the video, playback clips still adhere to share permissions set by video's owner.
If the recipient of the playback clip does not have permission to view the video, they will be able to request it from the video's owner.
