You can now transfer your individual videos, playlists or pages to other users and the whole process couldn't be easier!
Transfer your Vidcast
To transfer an individual Vidcast, simply click on the three dots button below your video and select Transfer ownership.
A new window will pop up, asking you to type an email address of the new owner.
Please note that you can only transfer your content to other users within your Webex organization.
Once you've typed in their email, click on Transfer -> , confirm you indeed want to transfer the video to a new owner and the video will be on it's way! The video will disappear from your library and will appear in the library of the new owner, who will also receive an in-app notification about it.
The transferred video will revert to new owner's default sharing permissions. If you have invited someone else to watch the video in the past, or assigned editors, their access will be revoked.
Transfer your Playlist or Page
To transfer a playlist to someone else, open it, then click on the three dots button in top right corner and select transfer ownership.
As with the individual video, you will be asked to type in a name or email of the colleague from your organization to whom you want your playlist transferred to. Once you click on Transfer -> button, the playlist will be removed from your library and your colleague will receive both email and in-app notifications that thy are now the owner of the playlist.
To transfer a page, open it and click on Edit in the top right corner menu. The three dots button containing Transfer ownership will appear right next to Publish draft option.
Please note that transferring ownership of playlists/ pages will only transfer high-level controls over the playlist or page. It will not transfer ownership of videos that were added to the playlist/page.
